They Need Me, Therefore I Am

It is ironic and borderline hilarious that today I posted that I cease to exist when they get to school, because today they needed me.

And therefore I exist.

Tony forgot his zip drive. He couldn't do anything without it. I took it to him.

Mike forgot a check for his field trip. If he didn't have it by today, he couldn't go. I went to the school and got it.

Rand wants me to get the van he drives fixed. But he didn't leave me a key. I'm going down there to get it.

Salinda has turned her orthodontist visit into a dream vacation and, because pleasing her is very similar to dreaming the impossible dream, I spent the morning trying to set it up exactly as she described.

So in the midst of their busy days, when they need something, all of the sudden, BOOM I reappear and begin, once again, to exist.

Disclaimer: Many of you might find me sarcastic, sardonic, cynical, borderline angry, but truthfully, I think I'm just plain hilarious sometimes.

Perhaps you should just go on strike. If a kid can't be civil, well-behaved, and appropriately appreciative of what you do, the consequence is that you won't do it.

You ARE hilarious, and there's nothing like comic relief to help a person get through the day! :-) Laugh or go crazy...that's my motto!
