Anyone else just LOVE them? I do. I could spend hundreds of dollars on them. Just being at Office Max today made me want to be all organized and efficient and made me wish I had hundreds of dollars to spend on all those cool notebooks and portfolios and pens and .... yeah, I love office supplies.
I bought some pens and a new notebook as I am hoping to do some writing and organizing on the plane, and because of my current body size, I can’t have my laptop out on the plane and enjoy using it there.
I also bought a little notebook and a special pen for Sadie. I have forgotten to mention it here, but she has a goal to write a book this summer. She wants to write a fiction book about a girl who was adopted out of foster care that is geared toward kids her age. I have encouraged her and we have done some brainstorming and have lots of good ideas. I’m excited for school to be out so she can get started. I’m not sure she knows how much self-discipline writing takes, but I’m hoping we can encourage each other.
I have lots of things that I am planning to write and having my little notebook and special pens will certainly help me to get writing.
That's so funny because my sister, my teenage daughter and I all love office supplies. We love Staples and Office Depot but try not to go there too much as it's easy to spend money quickly.

ReplyDeleteI still have school supplies we stockpiled from Staples at the beginning of the school year last year.
I LOVE OfficeMax! I look at all the organizational things and just know if I bought them I would get organized. Ha! And a new pen and pad of paper means I can at last write that note I've been meaning to write, or I will finally send that long overdue letter. So I don't go to office supply places very often! Who wants to get organized!
