It's 4:28 and I'm feeling very good about my day so far

I sat in the kitchen all day. I got my emails from 113 down to 8. I parented patiently and fairly well for me. I had some good feedback via email and comments about the website and other things on my blog. I got a 30 minute nap. I have so far survived the first day of summer.

And, we are having two families over for supper for Bart’s birthday. He wanted to cook, I wasn’t going to argue. Sadie is being very helpful to him. Everyone has been pretty mellow today and the TV has hardly been on, which is a big success in my book.
