Yet another Humorous Story for the Book

Dominyk has developed a very bad happy lately -- a habit of swearing... and he keeps adding new words each day, coming up with a phrase he will use repeatedly. Lately his favorite phrase is YOU G--D---M-----F------ B----.

Now, as you can imagine, this does not go over well in our home, but Dominyk has been exposed to older brothers who arrived swearing and we have learned that there is really no consequence that will stop a child from swearing if they don’t want to stop.

Earlier in our parenting experience, we used the “dollar a cuss word penalty” which worked wonders with Kyle, who still highly values money. He seldom swore. So, we decided to try it with Dominhyk. He lost his whole allowance for the week in five minutes.

So when the end of the week came and wanted his money, Bart gently reminded him that he had lost his allowance for swearing the week before. He responded,

“YOU G--D---M-----F------ B----! This is why I HATE being a preacher’s children.
