Wilson is 9. He lost a tooth tonight. He has lost a lot of teeth in his life, but the tooth fairy has never come. Tonight the tooth fairy will come.
And we bought him his first halloween costume at age 8.
He is the most adorable child in the world. And it almost makes me cry to think that he never got simple things like tooth fairy visits or Halloween costumes.
Some things just aren't right.

Very true. Breaks my heart.
And, isn't it such a blessing to get to be part of his firsts now? Firsts are treasured moments for me with my kids.

One more thought--maybe the tooth fairy could leave a little something extra with a tiny note referring to past teeth.
