That's good to know. Maybe it was just the 125 things he did before he made the face.... or maybe it's just that I"m tired and he was on my last nerve -- but the fact that he made that face regardless of how many times we asked him to chill out and dinner... I guess maybe I concluded that he looked like one.
Good to know he doesn't. Guess I need a video camera.
Either that or he's experiencing an episode of testicular tortion. That happened to my eldest son while we were staying on an island off the coast of Maine. When the screaming stopped and the doctors had done their thing son #1 said the pain was "worse than having ten babies."
Well, I would think this kid's parents aren't supervising him enough. Or his parents are too permissive. Wait a minute, now that I think more about it I'm sure his parents are just too strict. Give him some slack, it's just a stage, all kids act like this and they turn out fine!! (I hope you know I'm kidding!)
Truthfully, if I saw a kid making that face, I'd think he was been a goof and trying to be funny. Your son doesn't look like a special-needs kid.

ReplyDeleteNah, I'd think he had horrible parents that never taught him how to act in public. Only kidding! He just looks a little, shall we say, spirited?!
ReplyDeleteI'd think he was just a 13.5-year-old boy -- most of them are permanently stuck in silly mode!
ReplyDeleteNah, I teach 7th grade. Most of them look like that about 95% of the time.
ReplyDeleteIf you teach 7th grade, you are a total and complete saint. I do not joke. I can't imagine anything more disturbing. Pergatory for sure.
ReplyDeleteYeah, what Vanessa said.... stuck in goofy mode.....special needs are optional. LOL!
