The members of our family who are not with the youth group at Valley Fair went out to lunch with two other families, each family has one child, a daughter, and both go to our church. You have often heard us speak of Tim, Sue and Sarah. But we have not mentioned Les, Dawn, and Olivia before. On a whim I asked them if they had lunch plans as they were leaving church, and they didn't! Very cool. We had a great time.
There were 13 of us at the same place we went after the baptism. Both that day and today, we allowed someone else to choose the place, but Kyle was wondering why we always go there when he comes home.
There were lots of funny moments, but one of the best was when Wilson opened his fortune cookie and it read "your short term goals will soon be realized. He read it like this.
"Your short ... well, that parts true ... term goals will be realized.
I thought I'd never stop laughing. Dang he has a sophisticated sense of humor for a nine year old.
