John has been waiting a long time to see some of his siblings. Almost a year. And so several us are heading over to spend the fourth with him, spend the night in the cheapest not-by-the-hour hotel I could find, and spending some time with him tomorrow.
As in most adventures with our family, there will be moments that I already anticipate and do not look forward too. However, I am hoping that there will be redeeming moments as well and that we will be glad to have gone.
It's my plan to leave around 11:00, so I will get some stuff around here done first and then it will be time to go. The hotel has internet, so I'll be blogging on the trip.
