One of Those Hours

Sometimes, after several meltdowns and false accusations, screaming and fits of anger, I simply conclude that I never had any business thinking I could do this and wondering why in the world I ever thought I could.I don’t have the right personality for this.... that’s for sure!

Claudia, My friend Linda's email signature is "Heroism consists in hanging on one minute longer." Apparently it is a Norwegian proverb. Now, look up some good Ole and Lena jokes and smile. Tomorrow is a new day. You are a hero to many people, and they don't all live at your house. ~Kari

OK, I looked up some Ole and Lena for you. Here are 2 that made me chuckle and it's hard to make me chuckle lately!
Lars was staggering home after a night in the tavern. A Lutheran minister saw him and offered to help him get home safely. As they approached the house, Lars asked the minister to step inside for a moment. He explained, "I vant Lena to see who I have been out vith."

Ole and Lena got married. On their honeymoon trip they were nearing Minneapolis when Ole put his hand on Lena's knee. Giggling, Lena said, "Ole, you can go a little farther now if ya vant to"... so Ole drove to Duluth.

Here are a few Ole and Lena jokes I found for you.....

First, a kid joke....

Ole's neighbor Sven had a boy, Sven Junior, who came home one day and asked, "Papa, I have da biggest feet in da third grade. Is dat becoss I'm Norvegian?" "No," said Sven, "It's because you're NINETEEN."

And next, a painting joke....

TIMES were tough, so Ole decided to try his hand at painting. He was hired to paint the Lutheran church and he was doing well until he reached the steeple; at that point, he was running low on paint. So, Ole decided to make the paint last by thinning it out with some turpentine. As he neared the top of the steeple, he witnessed a flash of lightning and rolling thunder, accompanied by a voice from the heavens:
"OLE . . . OLE . . . REPAINT . . . AND THIN NO MORE.

Hope they made you smile.
