More Vindication

Well, our son John is proving us right once again. He is getting a 5% in one class and an 8% in another (or something like that). After being suspended from school, he tried to use physical intimidation with his teachers and Probation Officer yesterday. He even told his teachers, “I do not speak the language” when they asked him to get his work done at school (he speaks no other language besides English).

The P.O. told him, “well, John, everyone said you wouldn’t be able to make it here in the community, and all you’re doing is proving them right.”

His brilliant response was a sarcastic, “Whatever.”

Meanwhile, Mike is missing again today after school and skipped classes yesterday. He’s about to have his lunch times restricted because he keeps signing up for lunch and not eating it, so it costs us much more money. I can’t get ahold of the county attorney to see if they are ever going to deal with the Grand Theft Auto deal on November 5th.

It’s a strange, strange world we’ve chosen, unknowingly, to live in.
