I fixed the cell phone situation and it is much better than anticipated. If anyone cared.
Do you think that it is taking OCD to a new level when I do something that I kept forgetting to put on my to do list and then come home and put it on the list and check it off just so I can feel good about doing it?

Boy I hope not! I typically start a to-do list with something I have just finished, or am about to.
Sometimes I start with "Finish writing this to-do list". That feels less like cheating somehow.
I always write already completed tasks down on my daily to-do list. Granted, I'm an accountant so I can hardly build you up and claim this is not an anal-retentive trait.
