I probably shouldn’t blog all this, so I won’t. Because Blogs are public and who knows who reads it. But I’ll give you the gist.
But it appears that the day we have been looking forward to for months is not going to happen. When John was returned to our care on Dec. 30th we were told a custody hearing would be set up to return him to our custody. Then they couldn’t set it up, so it was on the docket for February 14th. But someone couldn’t make it. So it was now set for March 6th.
On March 6th it was our hope and prayer that he would be returned to our custody and we would be done with the whole thing and put it behind us. But apparently when they interviewed him at school during an unannounced visit Monday, he said enough to convince them that he needed to remain in county custody. We don’t know for sure what he said or what is going on, but apparently Monday is not going to be the day of jubilee we thought it would be.
