The day before Christmas break, Salinda got an assignment that she is supposed to have done by Friday.
She has to fix a complete meal for her family.
She put it off.
She now has a gymnastics meet and we have supper at church and she has no idea how she is supposed to be getting it done.
Can she cook it all and then throw it away? Can she serve it at 9 p.m.? No, I wouldn't agree to those options.
Isn't there a proverb:
“Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."
Apparently it isn't true, because she is sure mad at me.
Why? because she's a teenager I guess.
